CNC Millers / Toolmaker (CAD/CAM Programmer)
Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the CAM Programmer will be required to manufacture and program tool cutter paths on Delcam Power Mill software; this will be then processed for machining on both VMC and Bed Milling machines, machining into Aluminum or Steel injection mould tools. The CNC Miller / Operator will be required to run the VMC (vertical Machining Centers) and Bed Millers, liaising with the CAM Programmer. This is a day’s role, but hours are flexible depending on work load.
Skills and Experience : Ideally the right candidate will have a working knowledge of PowerMill (Delcam) programming software. Will have a full understanding of injection mould tools. A Hands on CNC miller would need to be able to run the machining centres and have an understanding on injection mould tools, but the Operator just an understand of CNC machines will be necessary.
Salary : Depending on knowledge looking at £24,000 plus
