Project Manager (Automotive)



Responsible to the Engineering Director you will project manage a number of new components from initial order up to volume production. You will head up a team of Engineers to ensure timings, quality and commercial expectations are achieved and you’ll also communicate directly with customers to ensure total customer satisfaction.



Our client is a world class manufacturer of pressings and assemblies to the automotive industry. They use the latest industry leading quality systems and state of the art technology. They are looking to expand their team and this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious team player.



The Role:



Knowledge of automotive industry and required industry standards



Previous experience of project management with proven track record and successful project launches



Must be conversant with TS 16949, project planning procedures



Knowledge/Understanding of OEM new project requirements



Have good computer skills, creating timing plans using Microsoft Project



Must be capable of leading a team to achieve key milestones



Excellent communication skills to ensure the smooth introduction of new projects into the factory



Ensure Health & Safety, Environment and Quality systems and procedures are maintained according to organisational requirements and approved codes of practice



Must be self-motivated, be a good team player



Customer Build Controls (all build levels through to sign off)
